I wanted to express my deepest love for Ghibli Studios' creations in the most human way I know. Yes, my drawings aren’t 1-to-1 copies from movies. But I enjoyed the process of making them. That’s really the point. Making art is more than simply generating a result. We like making art because we enjoy the process, and we spend our lives there. AI wants to steal it from us. Steal the process and erase experiences, emotions, and stories behind it. If we were only to get the result, what’s the point of life? In other words, good that we, as humans, aren’t generated by AI. Otherwise, we would be born directly in the grave.
